What is a Net Promoter Score (NPS)?

The NPS (Net Promoter Score) reports are based on a single question in any survey that is submitted. “How likely are you to recommend (Your Company Name) to other people?” And depending on the score they give, they are put into 3 different categories: Detractors (scores 0-6), Passives (scores 7-8), and Promoters (scores 9-10).

An NPS score is calculated by taking the percentage of promoters and subtracting the percentage of detractors from it and multiplying that result by 100 to achieve a final NPS score out of a total 100 points.
